Kids learning startup MeeGenius launched in 2010, with the idea of helping children learn by introducing highly curated apps full of licensed and original e-books. The app is available on the iPhone, iPad, and a wide range of Android devices, and has been downloaded more than 1.5 million times. Now it's closed a $2.4 million round of funding to help it expand and add even more kids content. The MeeGenius app is free to download and provides a single place for kid lit, where parents can buy titles and children can read them, all in one place.
